Online Kvitel Submission

Kvitel (in Yiddish) – Pitka (in Hebrew)
meaning a small note with request.

It is a centuries-old tradition to pray and place a note with a prayer or request by the tomb of the holy Tanna, Rebbe Shimon Bar Yochai (the “Rashbi”), the holy Ari in Tzfat and the other tzadikim in Galilee.

Tzidkat Rashbi takes your Prayers and Kvitel very seriously. You will receive an automated email message assuring you that we properly received your prayers.

When you send us your prayer, Tzidkat Rashbi will print your “Prayer-Kvitel” and arrange for Rabbis of our Kollel Zohar-David Hamelech to recite your prayers at the kever of Rebbe Shimon bar Yochai in Meron. They will then recite the traditional Me S’heberach for the welfare of our donors and place the Kvitel in the special Prayer Box on the Tzion (tombstone) – a great merit.

On special yahrtzeits and occasions or upon special request, we will also recite your prayers at the other tzadikim as well.

Rachel Imeinu in Bet Lechem, The holy Ari in Tzfat, Rebbe Yonatan ben Uziel in Amuka, Rabbi Meir Bal Haness and the Shela in Tiberius and other tzadikim in the Galilee.

Special Prayer Events

This is a free service.
However, there is great merit in making a contribution and helping to support the service and making it available for others.

It is a Jewish tradition to make a contribution in times of trouble so that the merit of the contribution will give additional reason for the Almighty to answer your prayer. Any amount is welcomed and appreciated. Your contribution will both cover costs of providing this service and help fund our community aid programs.
